We study rocks from fault zones to understand how and why faults slip and what conditions lead to or inhibit earthquakes. We try to understand what causes earthquakes and other slip modes to nucleate, grow, and arrest. We work in the lab a lot and in the field sometimes.
We currently have an opening for a postdoc. The application deadline is April 30, 2021. More information and application submission information is here. Email Melodie at email@example.com with any questions!
